my FINAL days... as aa freshmen.--

1. My favorite geology topic was when I learned about the layers that earth consists of. My 8th grade year I though it was just the: crust, mantle, inner and outer core. Then I learned there was the lithosphere, asthenosphere, and the Moho. I learned that the Moho was the boundary between the crust and the mantle. I also learned that the lithosphere contains the tectonic plates and is found in the upper mantle and the entire crust. And how the asthenosphere is the upper mantle. I learned a lot about earth that I didn't know before. Guess that goes to show you that you never really know something.

2. My favorite topic for meteorology had to be when we made our own photo story on the city of our choice. We described the weather how it was going to effect them, we even had to show a picture of the national forecast which very interesting. It was fun, and different. Even though I didn't get the best grade on it, I still liked that it wasn't what I was expecting and that it was a different way to teach things. Good job!

3. My favorite astronomy topic was the planets. Because I learned a lot more than- my very eager mother just served us nine pies- I learned that every Jovian planet has rings, and that word JOVIAN I didn't know that word even existed. I learned that Mars has a volcano named Olympus Mons, and I learned that one of Saturn's moons is named Titan. I just learned so much about space that I didn't even think twice about before.

4. I think I got at least an A on the final, hopefully. In order to prepare I study the practice test, I study all the notes I could find, and there was a lot of them , and I study the crosswords and some information out of the book. I think I could have study a lot more when we learned about the topic earlier in the year so then when it came down to the final I wouldn't have to study so hard and so long. But other than that I think I did good with the studying and preparing myself for the final.

-- Who, what, when, where, why, +& how.??

1. No one knows what made the Big Bang theory, actually 'bang'. All any of the scientist know is that when it happened, they have yet to find any evidence to support the what made it 'bang'. But some information to support it is the Hubble Law, and basically while the universe was in that little size ball of mass it started to expand and get bigger and bigger to the point where it couldn't stay so small any more.

2. I think if I were to go into a black whole, I would be gone for ever. I would dissolve into small gas particles and just become a part of the black whole that I was sucked into.

**Extrasolar planets-- Exoplanets~

1. Radial velocity, astrometry, transit method, optical detection.

2. Astrometry makes the most sense to me, because they can measure's a star's movement and deduct that from the total mass.

3. The Goldilocks zone is when a planet is a reasonable distance from its home star where it's surface doesn't get too cold or too hot. Which leads people to believe liquid water may exist on that planet.

4. I think the life would be far different than ours because it's immune to different things, so what ever is most common on that planet is what they're going to be use to. I think they're going to be a lot smaller than humans, a lot uglier, and far more advanced than we are. To me they would be said to be smart, because if they do exist, they sure did keep there existence secret for a long period of time. Which is far more than we, as humans, could say about our existence.

5. I do believe in aliens, I just think they're are smarter than humans. Because if aliens do exist than they've been able to keep they're identity secret from humans, who claim to be the smartest species to ever step on earth. Imagine if aliens could prove them wrong! Another reason I think we never see aliens is because they know the human race will want to experiment on them, ask them constant questions, try to learn they're language and ask them about the planet they came from. Even a smart alien would could tired of being examined like a new animal or unique plant. Alien are just plain GENIUSES.

1. The primary gas in the Jovian planets is hydrogen.
2. The primary gas in Mars and Venus is carbon dioxide.
3. If I could visit a planet is would be Mars. I want visit Mars because I think it would be cool to explore the volcano Olympus Mons. Because of how big it is said to be. Especially if it is the size of Ohio and extremely tall. I don't know if it would be possible for me to visit Mars, but I think it would be highly likely because Mars is mostly made of carbon dioxide.

Muh 5 choices; before thee REAL project-! ; *

1. Pluto is the ninth planet in the solar system, it is neither a Jovian planet nor a Terrestrial planet; it is considered a dwarf planet. A dwarf planet is a very small, some say miniature planet. Pluto was discovered in the year 1930s, but even though it was discovered in the 1930 there is very limited information on Pluto.

2. Mars is the fourth planet from the sun. It is commonly refered to as the red planet. It is home the a very huge volcano, Olympus Mons. And scientist and astronouts say that it may be the first planet other that earth that will have humans on it. Mars is the furthermost terrestrial planet.

3. Big Bang Theory is a theory that explains how the universe begin. It started from a small piece of matter that had a high temperature and a high density. Eventually that piece of matter started to expanded very quickly and the universe started to form. After a while the expansion process slowed and now we have today. Even though the universe is still expanding it is not nearly as fast as it was when it first started to expand.

4. Dwarf planets are extremely small planets a little bit bigger than planetesmials. Dwarf planets tend to be futher away from the sun making them a lot colder than most planets. One very known dwarf planet is Pluto. Some people say that Pluto can be considered a terrestrial planet but pluto is entirely to small to be a terrestrial planet, as are many dwarf planets. There are 5 known dwarf planets in the solar system.

5. Hubble's telescope was the first telescope in space. It was named after the Edwin Hubble who discoved evidence to support the Big Bang Theory. Hubble's telescope was sent into space to discover any information that scientist didn't know or wanted to verify. Hubble's telescope was the first to get information and have it back up by the science of space.

This semester; how GUDD ii was. ! *

1. Once again I would have to say my favorite blog was woordle, because I had a fun time finding words that I felt were important to the chapter(s) we were on. But most of all I loved experimenting with the color schemes.

2. My favorite chapter was chapter 17, because I loved learning about radiation, conduction, and especially convection which was my favorite out of all of them.
3. I think I deserve a 100%, I did all my blogs on time, and they all answer the questions you asked when that particular blog was assigned. I did everything expected of me and that is why I think I deserve a 100% as my grade.
